If Christians want to get closer to God, they need to follow what Jesus (pbuh) teaching. Jesus and the Bible teach Christians to pray to God like he did, worship only one God, fasting, circumcise, give charity, dont consume alcohol and pork, dress modestly, and believe in final messenger of God, prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

no, not finale, the sacrifice of blood was final, according to one muslim I spoke to, he said the Koran states that Jesus was not crucified, but another martye took his plave. Well if that be true, then he should get the glory for Christs finale test, and finale lesson to humanity in how to behave, regardless of dogma, and how to be obedient to God, until even death. Good if you know the truth. Yes, you're right. What you mention is the distorted version of religion of God. They, the enemy have successfully hijacked religion from God and associate it with false deity, which originated from egypt.
For example why people lose faith in religion nowadays because it has mixed up with the false practice of true religion, which is true teaching of previous Prophets and Messengers of God, including the true teaching of Jesus Christ (pbuh). The true teaching of Jesus Christ (pbuh) is to worship God alone, not statues, human being, trees etc., there is no likenesses or images of God, and nothing in this world comparable to God.
It is pretty much the same with the teaching of Muhammad (pbuh). Because it is the message from the same God, the same God of Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David and all previous Prophets and Messengers of God.

Brother, unfortunately many people nowadays follow the 'hijacked' version of the teaching Jesus Christ (pbuh). Jesus (pbuh) teach us to submit your will to God, there is no images of God, there is nothing in this world comparable to God.

+nickyg sunhouse God only send us one religion, that is to pray and worship Him alone and nothing else, not statues, animals, plants etc. If you check the scriptures of many major religion, the message of God to human are the same, to worship Him alone, there is no images of God, nothing in this world comparable to God.
